The Philadelphia Flyers were founded as part of the NFL expansion in 1967. The Philadelphia Flyers are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and play all their home games at The Wachovia Centre. For this reason, The Philadelphia Flyers are nicknamed by fans the Broad Street Bullies. The Philadelphia Flyers are part of the ‘original 6’ and were the first to win the Stanley Cup. The Philadelphia Flyers currently play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NFL.
