Golden State Warriors

Oakland, California is home to professional basketball team, The Golden State Warriors. The Golden State Warriors were originally founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946, relocating to San Francisco in 1962 where they were called The San Francisco Warriors until 1971. This was when their name changed to The Golden State Warriors. The Golden State Warriors play in the pacific division of the western conference which is part of the national basketball association (NBA). The Oracle Arena has been The Golden State Warriors home stadium ever since 1966, with the exception of just 1 year.
